Europass is an initiative which aims to help you make your skills and qualifications clearly and easily understood in Europe - whether you are enrolling in an education or training programme, looking for a job, or getting experience abroad.
QQI has made available Certificate Supplements for Level 5 and 6 major, special purpose and supplemental awards that are part of the Common Awards System. They can be found next to the Certificate Specification for each award in QSearch.
Certificate Supplements are used internationally to help make sure that the award holder's achievement is properly understood by employers, other education or training institutions or National Academic Recognition Information Centres (NARICs). Please support your learners achieve the recognition they deserve by alerting them to these free-to-download important European tools. Learners who have created a personal European Skills Passport should save their Certificate Supplement within their passport. Certificate Supplements can also be printed by providers and presented along-side the parchment.

QQI welcomes the launch of the National Employer Survey 2015 on 13 May 2015
The National Employer Survey is a joint project undertaken by the Higher Education Authority, Quality and Qualifications Ireland and SOLAS. The survey aims to ascertain employers’ views on the overall quality of recent graduates and any challenges they may face in filling graduate vacancies. Employers were also asked about what factors to consider in recruiting graduates and collaboration between business and educational institutions.
QQI is committed to working with employers and education and training providers to ensure qualifications are relevant, of high quality and enhance graduate employability by meeting the changing needs of the workplace.
Europass were at DIT, Grangegorman when the Minister for Skills, Research and Innovation Damien English TD launched the results of the National Employer Survey.
